WHAT TO EXPECT:
- In our 2.5 hour lesson and adventure, you'll learn how to paddle skillfully and safely (including paddling and turning techniques, how to stand, fun tricks you may want to try, and how to fall & skillfully re-board your paddleboard). We'll also travel around the lake, so you can experience the joy, beauty, adventure, and relaxation of your new sport!

- You'll learn about the history of paddleboarding, how to purchase (or rent) quality gear, and places to go.

- OPTIONAL: As I'm also an astrologer, astro coach, nature guide, and mythic storyteller, you may find yourself also learning more about the stars, the surrounding wild, or your own life journey. . . whatever is your interest at the time. 🙂

My SUP experience:

I am a very passionate paddleboarder, and I love sharing this sport with friends and clients. Until arriving in Santa Fe October 2025, I lived and paddled out of Bellingham, Washington. Many blissful hours have spent paddling the tides, currents, and winds of the Salish Sea (Puget Sound) in changing conditions, including night paddling with the bioluminescence, and on local lakes (including leading full moon night paddles).

In July 2025 I had the amazing opportunity (twice!) to go "downwinding" on the ocean of Hawaii in wild waves and big winds . . . with sea turtles!! Such a delight! I enjoy both maneuvering changing, fast waters, as well as basking and floating on calm waters.

In June 2024, I became a PSUPA-Certified Flatwater 1 instructor. That same week, I attended much of the PSUPA Yoga training (as an observer and participant). Although not certified, I do enjoy stretching on my SUP, such a delight! I also enjoy snacking and napping on the water. 🙂
