David Verde is a life long outdoor adventurer, paddler and waterman. By trade he is career filmmaker and video producer and currently works and lives in Staunton, VA. He was hooked from day one and over the past 8 years has gone on to become a highly skilled paddler and teacher.

IN 2023, David founded SUP Shenandoah, the first river guide outfit in the Shenandoah Valley solely focused on standup paddle boarding with the goal to provide the highest quality lessons and guided experiences on rivers and other waterways in Virginia. In addition to providing guest experiences, he hopes to continue growing interest in the sport in throughout in his area as well as provide more opportunities to expose underrepresented communities to the amazing sport of SUP. In addition to being a experienced paddle board guide and instructor, David is a certified PADI Divemaster, he is a proud Honduran immigrant and is also a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
